Waimea’s First Swell Of 2012 [3:13]

The same swell that sent a hardy crew of paddlers to Jaws resulted in Waimea throwing up a few decent sized waves to mark the beginning of 2012. Needless to say it was crowded, with everybody wanting a piece of the action, even with the pre Christmas swell that hit the North Shore. Watch out for Flynn Novak getting a couple amongst the pack, he’s probably still buzzing from his Transworld Surf cover. This video from the day was shot by Terry Reis.
